The Sessoms throw quilt pattern is inspired by the charming old fences and screens where my dad grew up on Sessoms Avenue. The pattern is sized for six different uses, and its symmetrical, lattice-like design offers the opportunity to create movement or tell a story using different colors, textures, and prints across its repeated shapes.
Sessoms is a great beginner, paper-pieced project to explore color gradations and other visual relationships. Plus, the ability to use pre-cuts (2½” strips and/or 5″ squares) makes it even easier!
